Re: Smoke free and tobacco free property
The Center believes in fostering a healthy environment for our residents, visitors and staff. As we move forward with culture change initiatives, we appreciate your cooperation and compliance.
Effective September 1, 2009, the Center for Extended Care at Amherst will become a smoke free and tobacco free property.
Smoking or the use of tobacco products will be prohibited on and in facility property; this includes porches, pavilion, parking lots, driveway and sidewalks.
We realize this change may be difficult for some, however, moving forward with culture change will help and enable us to continue to provide a healthy environment.
